Anna Lena Rudolfsson

Anna Lena Rudolfsson is a glass artist from Östersund and has been active since 1995 when she co-founded Storsjöhyttan. Working in her own workshop since 2018.
Anna Lena blows and engraves art and utility glass with great respect for the material and the craft tradition.

She wants to mediate a feeling that the glass has been fluid and alive and therefore initially works with hand blown, glasstudio-worked techniques, then she engraves, decorates and assembles the glass into unique and detailed glass objects that usually carry a story.

The product in the webshop is her "Bug bowl", a small spherical vase with engraved insects. Engraving is usually endearingly cute and she wants to find other motifs that are not commonly standard but preferably a little unexpected in the context.
